Jan-Fran asked:

I’m a self-taught begginer and I am soo confused by guitar tabs. Could someone help explain them to me?

Also, I play an acoustic guitar and am looking for easy songs to play. Any suggestions?
I am right handed and I know how to read sheet music. Just tabs I don’t get, but I’m starting to have a better understanding :)

alright so assuming you are right handed…when you look at the tab…….the bottom line is the string closest to you and the numbers are what fret to play on so lets say if youre looking at a tab and it says
    ——————————5——————————-
    ————————–4—————————————
    ————————————————————————
    ———————————————————————————
    ————————————————————-
    ———————————————————-
you would play the b string on the fourth fret and then the high e string on the 5th fret
also i suggest learning to read actual music
