I’ve seen widgets for lyrics and album art for itunes, but I frequently end up having to look for guitar tabs for the song I’m playing manually and I was wondering how one would make a widget to automatically search ultimate-guitar.com for the song I’m currently listening to. I already (kinda) know how to use Dashcode but only basically and I don’t know how to input my own stuff.

thugman asked:

I just been learning how to play guitar from a book and i can play all the notes just fine, but then it threw chords at me and just told me to play them. I am confused because it still gives me all the notes for the songs, now with the chords above the notes. Am I supposed to just strum the chords along with the rhythm of the song? If so, then why do they still give me the notes that you play on single strings?
I am not using Tab (i do know what that is) i am referring to the sheet music in the book i have where they have the notes and whatnot for the song, but above the bars they’ll throw in a ‘G’ or ‘C’ randomly and say “try switching between notes and chords” and i don’t know what the hell that means.
