do all the guitars for guitar hero work on all the playstations?

like ps2 guitars do they work on the ps3? i jst got guitar hero and its for the ps2 if i bring my guitar over to my friends house that has a ps3 will it work? she has the newer ps3 btw.

    Guitars use the ps2 guitars use the ps2 controoler plugins.

    it wont work. but you could play other ps2 games on it,( on some ps3 systems)
