jax v asked:

My brother is putting a capo on the third fret of his guitar and is playing chords G,C,and D. I need to know how to tell what key he is playing in when he is using a capo. I really really appreciate any links or info you can give me on this subject. Thanks,

An octave could also be written as many so with the open chord this means.
The second fret your playing up it raises the open chord your will become because up.
An octave then back to using flats instead of sharps for another chord for another chord has sharp there is detc.
