    I know Robin plays mostly new strats, and they all sound great to me. Pure Fender tone. I was suprised to see he uses so many overdrive units and still get that Fender sound though.

    The comparisons to hendrix of course anyone who uses wah on strat will get that but ive always believed trower had much more unique sound.

    I can’t imagine RT playing a Malmsteen Strat since tapping isn’t part of his schtick. For me, the Clapton modern Strat has too much mid-range. Maybe that’s what sounds right -to him - after too much exposure to Marshalls on 11.

    I wounder if he ever tried playing a Malmsteen Strat??? or a Clapton Strat???And why not play a Vintage Marshall??? like a 1959 or Hendrix model? I have so many questions to ask him.
