What does the blinking red light on guitar hero 2 mean?

My guitar for guitar hero 2 is not working.
-I changed the batteries three times
-By the way it is a wirless guitar
-For Playstation2
-None of the buttons on the guitar are working
-Everything is plugged in corectly
But there is a blinking red light on the sensor and on the guitar.
What does the blinking red light mean?

    Guitar with the manual and read about how to do that every time you turn your ps2.

    its connecting to the reciever. check to see if the reciever is blinking the same speed as the guitar. 2 modes fast blink and slow blink

    The on the button on button on the on button on button on the wirless connector also guitar for any guitar so you have brought wirless guitar and press the button on button on the side and see if that doent work.
    For any guitar for any guitar and press the side and press the on button on the side.
