I just started playing a Yamaha Pacifica 112. My tutor mentioned that my hands seem too large for this guitar. Are there any guitars that have more space in their frets so my fingers will fit better?

    Electric BASS!

Don’t be fooled, if you are a good musician, and you put together a rocking look, you will go far as a bass player.

There are lots of guitars that have larger fret boards. Guitars that have JUMBO frets and 24 fret guitars generally have more spacing. Another thing to consider is the thickness of the neck itself. Some older Les Pauls, for example, have much thicker necks than the newer ones. And one last thought Jimi Hendrix had HUGE hands and he played a standard Fender Stratocaster, this also lends itself to things that people with small or average size hands cannot do. Hendrix would often use his thumb as a capo leaving his other fingers to play within the “barre”.
