Its probably better to start on electric, as they are easier to play. That will allow you to get some decent results sooner, and not over-stress your hand and wrist which arent strong yet. I played a fender squire in a Sam’s Club the other day. It was very cheap and played very nice. They probably make different models of Squires. If so, im sure that was the cheapest, but it still was easy to play.
