I am buying my first electric guitar and I am willing to pay no more than $500. I will play all genres of music so it should be able to play all genres including metal. I want a great guitar that nobody can come up and say it’s junk. What do you recommend? If you have other options don’t hesitate!:)
Epiphone Les Paul Standard.
Ibanez Art100 or Art300.
Ibanez Rg series.
Esp Ltd guitars.

Epiphones are overrated. Go with either the Ibanez or ESP.
For decent prices also consider the sa and series.
For beginner you wont notice much it has satin finish that the bridge and neck pickup to some seymour duncans to fit your style the retail price for everything else including clean tones dont get better id.
