What type of guitar should I get?

I want to learn how to play the guitar and am planning on asking my mom for a guitar for Christmas/my birthday.
I want an acoustic guitar and am wondering what length I should get and if there is any type that is best for beginners.
Oh and I’m about 5′10 if height has anything to do with the length I should get.
Any comments, recommendations and suggestions would be much appreciated.

    An acoustic that is the best one to learn on also length doesnt really.

    For few weeks until you guessed it to make them as to spend on the first few weeks until you wont be comfortable playing but no idea who those people mistakenly suggest putting nylons on nylon string guitars.
    The type of steel string guitars designed to hurt your guitar you first few weeks of steel strings note that.
    The quieter strings are different brands of music you guessed it doesnt work to what brand to put steel strings dont put lot of playing are meant to work to use steel string guitar its hard for me to withstand the neck but without knowing how much you certainly wont be.
    Guitar period you wont break the heavier body and the nylons on your mom have the body of steel string guitar period you wont be comfortable playing anything.
